ABOUT
DOĞALI PROJECT IS A SUSTAINABLE, ECOLOGICAL AND INSTITUTIONAL ENTITY FORMED BY A COLLECTIVE OF FRIENDS.
WE ARE COMMITTED TO BUILD A SPACE FOR LIVING AND WORKING IN NATURE ON THE PATH TO WELL-BEING, CREATIVITY AND FREEDOM…
Our eco-farm offers people the opportunity to rediscover their roots, re-interact with nature and share learning experiences..
We manage 22 acres of uncontaminated and rich agricultural land nestled in the Kaz (Ida) Mountain, in Çanakkale, NW Turkey
Besides working to diversify our crops and final products, our ultimate aim is to create a self-sufficient settlement for our community and a welcoming place where visitors can experience rural life and learn about living in harmony with nature..
For the past couple of years, we have been busy establishing basic life needs like solar power, shelter and utilities.
Research and developement, harvesting and small scale production started in 2015. The pesticide-free plums, apples and cherries we grow in our orchards surrounded by forests are handpicked and then processed into delicious delicacies using modern equipment, yet traditional methods.
- WHO WE ARE-
Doğalı was conceived and founded by a bunch of people from diverse disciplines who all share a common motivation for creating an ecological living space in nature.
Founding members include sub-culture initiator music veterans, a self-taught herbal alchemist, an architect, an environmental scientist, an organic agriculture and permaculture specialist, an international logistics expert, a food & beverage manager and chef.
We are keen to meet and possibly collaborate with likeminded people.
- OUR LANDS -
Located at an altitude of 550 m, our 22-acre eco-farm borders Kaz Mountains Nature Reserve in Çanakkale. We are in a 100-acre pocket surrounded by forests blessed with abundant water sources. Major local farming produce include walnut, cherries, apples, beans, grains, tomatoes and many others.
5 km down the lane we also own a derelict watermill, which we plan to restore and produce gluten-free flour from chestnut, amaranth, corns, etc.

mountains calling...
From March until November, Doğalı Eco-farm welcomes volunteers willing to contribute to farming activities and the development of our settlement.
Once among us, in our wild paradise, we will offer tasty food, basic accommodation and a lot of opportunities to learn new skills. You will also meet with our horses, sheep and our two Anatolian shepherd dogs.
We accept volunteers for a minimum stay of 10 days*.
We expect volunteers to be ready to adapt our way of living and, of course, to come with an open mind.
During your stay, we will expect you to participate actively to our various tasks. Generally speaking, daily tasks involve basic gardening work, animal caring, helping out in the kitchen and wood collecting.
According to the period you will come and to your skills, we may expect you to help us on harvesting jobs, construction works, production tasks...
Key words for volunteering in Dogali are: team work & respect & motivation !**
< If this sounds interesting, please fill in the form below. for more information >
* This period will allow you to understand our way of working, to dedicate yourself more efficiently to the different missions you will participate to & to experience fully our eco farm’s spirit. To say it shortly : our collaboration will be much more successful !
**If these words and their meanings do not sound so familiar to you, no hard feelings but, maybe you should not consider to be a volunteer in Dogali,
